Cyril Cummins and Ian Davies visit ESKIA

ESKIA were delighted with the recent visit of Cyril Cummins (7th Dan) and Ian Davies (5th Dan). LELA Shotokan hosted the seminar that saw these great names of Karate combine to produce a great training session. The day was a success and left many students with a new outlook on many disciplines.

We have uploaded pictures to the gallery section and welcome the new video section, the videos on their currently give a great insight to the day.

 

 

 

 

ESKIA's First Courses

ESKIA held its first courses of 2010. The first was a pregrading course on january 16th which was held at the Long Eaton school, Thoresby Road. Clubs from Long Eaton, Loughborough and Stanley Common took part. The course was well attended and lasted 2 hours covering all the gradings. Sensei Terry Corbett(4th dan) and Chris Holland(3rd dan) went through all aspects of the gradings.

January 30th, ESKIA held its second course for grading its students. All entrants were succesful achieving grades from red belt to 2nd dan. The students were all ages Jason Huckle and Kesh Lilhadar were made 2nd dans. Congratulations to all students, the next course will be a kata course, date to be decided.
